Terms of Service
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These terms apply to your use of Team Openly, a collaboration service from the Openly family and EaryDigital.
Your account and workspace
Use a valid email address, keep your sign-in details secure, and only join workspaces you are authorized to access. Each member has an individual account. Workspace owners control invitations, channel access and workspace billing. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the people and content you bring into your workspace.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload. You give Team Openly a limited license to store, process and display it to operate the service and honor the sharing settings you choose. You must have permission to share documents, images and other content. An owner may enable read-only public channel links; use that setting carefully.
Acceptable use
Do not use Team Openly for unlawful activity, harassment, spam, fraud, impersonation, malicious files, unauthorized access or interference with the service. Do not attempt to bypass workspace, channel, storage or billing limits. We may restrict or suspend access to address misuse, security concerns or violations of these terms.
Plans and service limits
Starter includes up to 3 joined members, Team up to 20, and Business up to 100, including the owner. Paid standalone plans are per workspace; invited members are not individually charged. Files are limited to 50 MB each, and profile photos and workspace logos to 5 MB each. This is not an unlimited-storage promise. Explicit complimentary or Founder access is preserved according to the grant on your account.
Openly Pro connections
Openly Pro is a separate membership service. An explicitly linked active membership may cover up to 5 selected owned workspaces, with up to 100 joined people each including the owner. Existing exempt complimentary workspaces do not use coverage slots. Monthly and yearly Pro memberships have the same Team benefits. Linking does not cancel or refund an independent Team Openly subscription. If coverage becomes inactive or unavailable, independent plans or grants still apply; workspaces over those limits may become read-only without deleting their records.
Service availability and responsibility
Team Openly is provided as is and as available. We aim to operate reliably but do not promise uninterrupted access or that the service meets every use case. Keep copies of important documents. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or disputes between workspace participants. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending service and changes
You may cancel a paid plan in Plan & billing and request account deletion by contacting support. We may suspend or end access for misuse or security reasons. Cancellation and data deletion are separate actions. See the Billing, Cancellation & Refunds page for subscription details. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date.
